Take my post out of the atlas
One email with the link. Honored within 24 hours. No account, no form, no reason needed.
The one step
Email [email protected] with the link to the atlas entry, or to your original post. Either one identifies the record.
What happens next
- The quote, your handle and the link come off the page, out of
feed.json, out of the Atom feed and out of the llms.txt. - The entry id is kept as a tombstone with the date it came down, and the page at that address says so.
- The collector will not re-add the same URL: the withdrawn record keeps the address occupied, so it cannot quietly return.
- The whole thing is done within 24 hours of the email landing.
What is stored in the first place
| Field | What it holds |
|---|---|
url | the canonical link to your post |
title | the post title as published |
handle | your public handle, exactly as you posted it, so the credit points at you |
published_at | the date on the post |
quote | at most 30 words around the failure language that matched |
body_sha256 | the hash of the response the quote was read from |
Scope
Handles here exist to credit the person who found the failure and to point readers at the original thread. They are read from public posts, they stay on the page they were quoted on, and they are never compiled into a mailing list.
